Key activities
Enabling women to be a #SafeRiderSmartRider, Honda 2Wheelers India conducted the celebration under its three-pronged approach:
- Theoretical session: All the participants first went through an interactive theory session on crucial subjects like traffic rules, riding tips, road signs and necessary safety measures followed by a road safety quiz.
- Demonstration: Further embedding the theoretical knowledge, Honda’s trained road safety instructors then showed the safe and easy ways of vehicle inspections, kick-starting a two-wheeler, rule of mounting & dismounting etc.
- Practical: In the final leg, all women then implemented the knowledge gained by riding a two-wheeler on an all-inclusive track replicating the real-world on road situations (like traffic signals, speed breakers, blind spots etc.) a rider faces during her commute.
To make it a memorable experience, all women took home Honda merchandise and won exciting gifts.
